Synopsis

Pet tortoise Albert is on his biggest adventure yet. He must tackle giant dinosaurs and a fiery volcano. Then, back in the garden, he’s called on to help his little friends with a big problem of their own.

Review by Stacey

Albert Supersize is the third book in a series about Albert the Tortoise, who is actually a real-life tortoise.

Just like the others in the series, this book is hilarious. It begins with Albert saving the dinosaurs and ends with him helping his friends out who live in the garden.

The full-page illustrations are remarkable. They stand out and are a lot of fun to look at. I always adore Albert’s expressions in the pictures too.

This is a magnificent series. I can see children, no matter their age enjoying these stories, plus they get to learn all about tortoises from the factual information page at the back. What’s not to love?
