1941Virginia Woolf (nee Adeline Virginia Stephen), author of ‘Mrs Dalloway‘ was born in Kensington, London, UK on 25th January 1882. She died aged 59 in the River Ouse, Sussex, UK. Virginia committed suicide by drowning herself after falling into a deep depression. Her cremated remains were buried beneath an elm tree in the garden of Monk’s House, where she lived with her husband.
