Ever wondered how some authors manage to get their imagination working enough to write such wonderful masterpieces?
Author, poet, playwright, essayist, literary critic and painter, David Herbert Richards Lawrence – better know as D.H Lawrence, wrote a few very famous books, including ‘Sons and Lovers’ and ‘Lady Chatterley’s Lover’.
He had a very unusual way in which to stimulate his imagination.
He would climb up a Mulberry Tree and sit amongst the branches – Naked!
Fun – It’s a good job is wasn’t a Pine Tree – Those Pine needles! Ouch!
