Review of a witch Winter Wedding Bells

The Kiss by Karen Rock

Julie Barrett is getting married. She has planned her dream wedding on Christmas at the beautiful Mirror Lake Lodge. Her husband to be is Mason Stanton, a physician who works with her father, a physician as well. Life with Mason will be safe, predictable, just what she wants. No surprises. So she wasn’t prepared when she looked out the window and saw her former boyfriend, Austin Reynolds.

Austin was supposed to have been ‘the one’, but his life wasn’t predictable. He wanted travel, surprises, unpredictable. And when it came time for Julie to take the plunge, to put her trust in him and leave her safe life behind, she couldn’t do it.

It’s been years since they have spoken. When they run in to each other, the connection is still there. Julie has to decide, does she want safe and predictable, or a life full of surprise, laughter, and love that can take you on an adventure each and every day of your life. And how can she ever convince Austin that she is ready to take the risk. What grand gesture will convince him that she is done being safe?

The Wish by Kristine Rolofson

Grace Clarke is the events coordinator at Mirror Lake Lodge. Her life is pretty much her job. There is always so much going on for her to take care of.

Grace thought she was in love once, she put her trust in the love of a man she thought felt the same way as she did. But he left, and broke her heart. So now Grace guards her heart. Especially against sexy famous chefs like the one the lodge employs, Dominic “Nico” Vitelli. But when Grace slips in his kitchen and severely sprains her ankle, Nico takes her home to his house and takes care of her.

Nico has a reputation for being a player, a ladies man. But when she sees him with his huge Italian family, she starts to see him in a different way. Can she trust this man with her heart or will he break it?

The Promise by Jennifer Snow

Alexis Chase was supposed to be the maid of honour at her best friend’s wedding. She missed her flight so by the time she arrived at Mirror Lake Lodge, the wedding was cancelled.

She is determined to use the time here to get some work done. She is an attorney, trying to work her way up in her firm. But that becomes difficult when in the room right next door is the man that broker her heart years ago, Liam Holloway.

Liam never got over Alexis and is determined to prove to her that he deserves a second chance. With Christmas right around the corner and wedding magic in the air, will Alexis give him a second chance?

I loved all three of these stories. The beauty of the lodge all decorated for Christmas took my breath away and I fell in love with all three of these couples.

The wonderful thing about anthologies is finding new authors that you enjoyed. Kristine Rolofson was a new author to me and I definitely want to read more of her books.

You can’t go wrong with this Christmas anthology. It will make you smile, sigh, and will warm your heart during this holiday season.
