Review of November 2016 – Includes giveaway

Hello, and welcome to the review of November 2016. This is a very special review as at the bottom of this post, you will find the first giveaway for December. As Christmas is fast approaching, we decided to run a few giveaways. We have some fantastic prize. Well, you could certainly tell that winter had arrived this month. Cold, damp, frost mornings, a bitter wind, and dark nights graced us. Now I don’t particularly mind the cold. I love the crunch of the frost under my feet, and the look of everywhere turned white and glistening out of my window.

However the cold does have its downfalls. Having to de-ice the car, which means you have to get out of bed earlier, heating switched on, which dries your skin out and my least favourite, slippery floors.

This is the time of year that everyone does either the robot walk – staying so rigid, trying to stay upright, or the ballerina dance – slip sliding around with arms and legs having a mind of their own. 🙂

The cold weather does bring one big advantage to book lovers, though you get to snuggle up under a blanket, hot chocolate in one hand and a good book in the other – and perhaps a cheeky chocolate bar as well.

If you are looking for some inspiration as to what to read, then this month we reviewed 44 books, including two books that were reviewed by this month’s author guest reviewers, Terry Tyler and Tom Williams.
